Program Notes:

Chris Tomlin has combined a slightly altered version of Amazing Grace with his own original chorus to create a powerful, modern version of this classic hymn. The freedom from the chains of sin mentioned in the chorus is particularly poignant given the slave-trading background of the writer of the original hymn, John Newton, a reminder that the grace of God is both unlimited and unending.
