Rise and Shrine
"Rise and Shine" is a popular children's chorus that tells the story of Noah and the Ark in many fun verses. That instrumental setting simply usesd the chorus that says, "Rise and shine and give God the glory, glory, Children of the Lord."
The arrangement begins with two lines of a Salvation Army song by Edward Henry Joy;" We'll sing in the morning the songs of salvation...We'll sing the songs of Zion in the courts above." After this reflective opening, the rest of the piece is a joyful admonition to "Give God the glory!"
