Band Music for Evangelism
Edited by Kevin Norbury
PrefaceThe third consecutive issue of the Christmas American Band Journal offers wonderful music of the season to inspire musicians and audiences alike.
William Gordon's exciting march Christmas Rejoicing is tailor-made to bring anyone into the spirit of Christmas. The hauntingly beautiful Huron Carol is exquisitely arranged for cornet and band by Kevin Norbury. Tchaikovsky's well-known Trepak from the Nutcracker Suite has been skillfully arranged by Keith Wilkinson, and Captain Leonard Ballantine has arranged yet another swing style winner in Go Tell It.
Each of these pieces has been recorded by the New York Staff Band on the Triumphonic Recording Christmas Rejoicing.
Merry Christmas!
