We welcome the contributions of David Edmonds, Joel Collier, and Robert Getz to this issue of the American Band Journal. New voices have always been the life blood of Salvation Army published music. Joining the new voices are veterans Bill Gordon, whose Glory, Hallelujah will finds its way onto many concert programs and Dorothy Gates, whose Whatever It May Cost, is a powerful contemplation of John Larsson's music, and gives good reason to search for meaning in the words, "If crosses come....I'll not turn back," by the late General John Gowans.
