Band Music for Evangelism
Edited by Kevin Norbury
PrefaceThis issue of the Americna Band Journal contains three practical gifts from three gifted musicians.
The well-known Sussex Carol and Good King Wenceslas are given fresh life by Kevin Norbury and Douglas Court.
Stephen Bulla offers the sentimental side of a modern Christmas through the warm and uplifting carols of Alfred Burt. Burt wrote thirteen Christmas Carols between the years 1943 and 1954 prior to his untimely death at the age of 33. His carols have been recorded by many artists including Natalie Cole, Dave Gruisin and the Boston Pops. Stephen Bulla's arrangement will, no doubt, prove to be popular with bands and audiences alike.
May this music of the Christmas season bring a renewed understanding of God's greatest gift, Jesus.
